This Outrider Automatic field watch features a black dial & gilt accents with BGW9 Super-LumiNova®, the iconic flat tip hour hand, a double dome sapphire glass with anti-reflective coating, a 316L stainless steel case with proprietary HexapleX® architecture - shock-resistant and water resistant to 150 m.
This black & gilt dial timeless look automatic explorer watch - powered by the Japan made automatic movement Citizen/Miyota 8315 with a 60-hour power reserve - is presented with a choice of a two-piece black or dark red vegetable tanned Italian leather strap, or a 316L stainless steel beads-of-rice bracelet.
LIMITED EDITION CASEBACK
The special casebacks of these tool-watches are individually numbered and feature, along with the technical markings, a deep engraving with enamel of the proverbial moto “THE PROOF IS IN THE DRIVING” and a Laffly truck - V-15 R.
Developed in the 1930s for the French army, the Laffly V-15 R was among the first 4x4 truck in history .
From this invaluable trans-Africans field experience, Laffly engineers came up with an avant-garde and now illustrious all-terrains vehicle concept built for military use and available in 6 wheels – the W-15 - and 4 wheels – the V-15.

• Modification of the date disk to a “Roulette” style disk with the date in black on odd days and red on even ones

SCRATCH‑RESISTANT SAPPHIRE CRYSTAL
A grade of 9 on the Mohs-hardness scale (graded 1-10) and a dome shape, means the sapphire crystal of the Outrider Automatic field watch is virtually scratch-proof and very hard. While, the inside anti-reflective coating ensures an unhindered vision at all times.
ASSEMBLED IN FRANCE
The movements are customized – with a 6 o'clock “Roulette” style date disk or removal of the date disk in the case of the Outrider "No Date" - and regulated by our watchmakers.
