THE SKINDIVER "WORLDTIMER"

In the early 1960s, Wolbrook and its sister brand Douglas introduced the Skindiver “Worldtimer”: a solid, water-resistant and highly legible timepiece with luminous markers and hands, a bold red sweep second hand, distinctive hour and minute hands, a 24-hours / Military Time scale along with a rotatable bezel with time zones and elapsed time.

This mix of features from a diving watch and a pilot watch makes it the kind of tool-watch a NASA engineer, test pilot or regular man would choose and operate through the 1960s and the 1970s.

The Skindiver WT Automatic keeps on the legacy of this special mechanical watch.

AUTOMATIC MOVEMENT: JAPANESE QUALITY & RELIABILITY

Citizen / Miyota 8315 Automatic (Self-winding mechanical):
• 60 hours power-reserve

In-house modifications and operations:
• Modification of the date disk to a “Roulette” style disk with the date in black on odd days and red on even ones
• Control and setting with a tolerance of ±15 seconds and a beat error of 0.6ms

For the highest possible afterglow performance, all Wolbrook watches including - the Skindiver WT Automatic - are using Swiss made Super-LumiNova® pigments:

• Seven layers of Super-LumiNova® pigments are applied on the dials
• Hands are skeletonized and filled with Super-LumiNova® pigments
• "Old Radium" or C7 Super-LumiNova® pigments depending on models
