THE SKINDIVER "WORLDTIMER"

In the early 1960s, Wolbrook and its sister brand Douglas introduced the Skindiver “Worldtimer”: a solid, water-resistant, highly legible tool-watch with luminous markers and hands, a bold red sweep second hand, distinctive hour and minute hands, a 24-hour / Military Time scale, and a rotatable bezel combining elapsed time and world time zones.

This blend of diving and pilot-watch functions made it the kind of instrument a NASA engineer, a test pilot, or an everyday explorer would rely on throughout the 1960s and 1970s.

The Skindiver WT Automatic carries forward this legacy — and today, that lineage expands with the new Pan4Timer version, offering a fresh approach to multi-zone timekeeping rooted in the original Skindiver spirit.

AUTOMATIC MOVEMENT: JAPANESE QUALITY & RELIABILITY

Citizen / Miyota 8315 Automatic (Self-winding mechanical):
• 60 hours power-reserve
• Hacking-second
• Quick date setting

In-house modifications and operations:
• Modification of the date disk to a “Roulette” style disk with the date in black on odd days and red on even ones
• Control and setting with a tolerance of ±15 s and a beat error of 0.6 ms

SWISS MADE SUPER-LUMINOVA®

For the highest possible afterglow performance, all Wolbrook watches including - the Skindiver WT Automatic - are using Swiss made Super-LumiNova® pigments:

• Seven layers of Super-LumiNova® pigments are applied on the dials
• Hands are skeletonized and filled with Super-LumiNova® pigments
• "Old Radium", C3 or C7 Super-LumiNova® pigments depending on models
