This Outrider Professional Mecaquartz field watch features a white dial with C3 Super-LumiNova®, the iconic flat tip hour hand, an impact resistant Hesalite crystal, a 38mm 316L stainless steel case - water resistant to 120m.
This white dial 38mm explorer watch - powered by the Japanese mecaquartz movement Seiko VH60 - is presented on a one-piece green & nylon leather strap.

LIMITED EDITION CASEBACK
The Outrider Professional Mecaquartz 38mm field watch is secured with a screw-down caseback and the first 1933 pieces come with a limited edition caseback.
The special caseback of this tool-watch is individually numbered and feature, along with the technical markings, a deep engraving with enamel of the proverbial moto “THE PROOF IS IN THE SAHARA” and one of the Laffly truck used in the 1933 Paris to Lac Tchad Mission.
From this invaluable trans-Africans field experience, Laffly engineers came up with an avant-garde and now illustrious all-terrains vehicle concept built for military use and available in 6 wheels – the W-15 - and 4 wheels – the V-15.

HESALITE GLASS: THE PRO’S CHOICE
From the 1960s and earlier, armed forces around the world along with NASA issued wrist-watches secured with Hesalite glasses to service men, pilots and astronauts. Why? Hesalite offers high transparency, strong impact resistance and do not shatter like glass or sapphire would.
To this day, above or under the ocean, in a cockpit, or even in space, the possibility of having tiny bits of glass floating around or having the face of the watch exposed to the elements is considered an unnecessary risk and a direct threat to mission success.
