This Skindiver Professional watch features a orange dial with BGW9 Super-LumiNova®, the iconic minute arrow hand, a Hesalite glass, a steel case with black PVD treatment - water resistant to 120m with screw-down crown.
This automatic watch - powered by the Japanese automatic movement Citizen/Miyota 8315 - is presented on a black Tropic rubber strap or a 316L stainless steel black PVD beads-of-rice bracelet.
LIMITED EDITION CASEBACK
The Skindiver Professional is secured with a screw-down caseback and the first 949 pieces - a tribute to Wolbrook Watches foundation in 1949 - come with a limited edition caseback.
The special casebacks of these tool-watches are individually numbered and feature, along with the technical markings, a deep engraving with enamel of the proverbial moto “THE PROOF IS IN THE CORAL REEF” and a zoomed in clown triggerfish - Balistoides conspicillum – of the Balistidae family.
The clown triggerfish is most commonly found along coral reef slopes with clear water until 75m depth.

The newly engineered HexapleX® watch case architecture brings enhanced shock-resistance via the use of “3D” rubber shock absorbers strategically placed in the front, back and side of the movement holder.
The movement is subsequently in a “floating” configuration and effectively shielded from big to micro impacts on the watch case.

From the 1960s and earlier, armed forces around the world along with NASA issued wrist-watches secured with Hesalite glasses to service men, pilots and astronauts. Why? Hesalite offers high transparency, strong impact resistance and do not shatter like glass or sapphire would.

ASSEMBLED IN FRANCE
Like all Wolbrook & Douglas watches since the 1960s, the Skindiver Professional tool-watches are carefully assembled by professional and trained watchmakers in France, nearby Besançon.
