DESCRIPTION OF THIS SKINDIVER AUTOMATIC WATCH

This Skindiver II Automatic watch features a black lacquered dial with green C7 Super-LumiNova®, the Wolbrook iconic arrow hour hand, a glass box sapphire crystal, a 316L stainless steel case—water-resistant to 200 m with a screw-down crown.

This automatic Skindiver II watch, powered by Japanese Citizen/Miyota 9015 automatic movement with a 42-hour power reserve (approx.), is equipped with a choice of a black Tropic rubber strap or a 316L stainless steel beads-of-rice bracelet or a 3-link bracelet.

The Skindiver II Automatic is secured with a screw-down caseback and the first 949 pieces - a tribute to Wolbrook Watches foundation in 1949 - come with a limited edition caseback.

The special casebacks of these tool-watches are individually numbered and feature, along with the technical markings, a deep engraving with enamel of the proverbial moto “THE PROOF IS IN THE DIVING” and two narwhals - MONODON MONOCEROS – of the MONODONTIDAE family.

The narwhal is found predominantly in the Atlantic and the Arctic Ocean. Narwhals make some of the deepest dives recorded for a marine mammal, diving to at least 800 m (2,620 ft) over 15 times per day, with many dives reaching 1,500 m (4,920 ft).

With 200 m / 20 ATM water resistance tested and guaranteed, a screw-down crown and screw-down caseback, the Skindiver II Automatic wristwatch will escort you on any of your skin-diving or scuba diving down to -200 m if necessary. So, you are covered.

ISO 6425 – the international standard that defines the specifications of Dive Watches – states that 100 m water resistance is where the realm of diving watches starts.

SHOCK RESISTANCE A FATHOM AHEAD

The newly engineered HexapleX® watch case architecture brings enhanced shock-resistance via the use of “3D” rubber shock absorbers strategically placed in the front, back and side of the movement holder.

The movement is subsequently in a “floating” configuration and effectively shielded from big to micro impacts on the watch case.

The result is the most impact resistant and accurate* Skindiver automatic watch Wolbrook has ever manufactured.

SCRATCH‑RESISTANT SAPPHIRE CRYSTAL

The Skindiver Automatic watch is equipped with a highly-domed, scratch‑resistant sapphire crystal with anti‑reflective treatment inside.

A grade of 9 on the Mohs-hardness scale (graded 1-10) and a dome shape, means the sapphire crystal of the Skindiver II Automatic watch is virtually scratch-proof and very hard. While, the inside anti-reflective coating ensures an unhindered vision at all times.

ASSEMBLED IN FRANCE

Like all Wolbrook watches since the 1960s, the Skindiver II Automatic dive watches are carefully assembled by trained professional watchmakers in France, in the outskirt of Besançon.

The movements are customized – with a date disk matching the color of the dial in the case of the Skindiver II Automatic - and regulated by our watchmakers.
